Also softmodding is VERY quick and uncomplicated once you've copied the right savegames over. The dashboard can then do other stuff (play music, load emulators, linux, XBMC, xbox games from hd, other dashboards etc). Most homebrew apps also have an option to exit to the dashboard. Linux on a chipped box can *if you so wish* take over the entire hd but it is in no way necessary and on a softmodded box is not recommended. |
