Hi all, I'm an avid capture fan, recently using Windoze, but now getting to grips with linux. I've managed to get captures working in xdtv, but I can't make very long ones, because they always clip at 4gb and the frames lost between the files is far too great (my max file size is set to 0). I know someone posted before about this, but there seemed to be no reply. Is xdtv the problem, or is it something else to do with my setup? I've got an AMD64-X2 gentoo system, so everything that can be is compiled to 64-bit (xwin is xorg7.2/GL). Capture card is a BT878. I'm using XFS on a SATA drive. Kernel is 2.6.20. Cheers, FokeyJoe. |

I know that xdTv doesn't support analog tv audio directly from PCI bus. I see a tuner card that have the possibility to connect audio output with audio card trough a 4-pin connector, not trough external jack connection. Hello, can you put here the output of xdtv run in DVB mode and also in analogic mode please ? In analogic mode, how sound is transfered from the card to the PC ? 1) Via the PCI bus or 2)via the a wire connected to the sound card ? if the answer is 1), it is not (yet?) supported by xdtv. If 2) I don't understand ... Nicolas.
