#33 IDTV RECORD Crash when there are no Sound Driver

The initial problems comes from Mandriva with didn't recognise conexant as a sound card but IDTV should work without sound system ...
There are no option in IDTV to tell you have no sound system or you don't want any sound when grabbing video .
My video are old Super-8 without any sound and even if sound server is down (because of Mandriva), I d 'like to make the video recording to work .
(visualising video is OK with composite2 channel)

Problem : Can not grab sound on video : alsa-cx88 is missing ...

Read video is possible with IDTV on V4L on composite and Svhs Channel
IDTV Grab video crash after 30 second of record .
(I still didn't try TV Tuner system, only grabbing external video)

Boot message :

Sound server informational message

Error while initialising the sound server
device : default can't be opened for playback (no such file or directory)
the sound server will continue using the null ouput device

When i start Mandriva Drackconf with : « configure the TV Card «

« Le programme s'est arreté de façon anormale »

The Bad solution is to insert Pcmcia card when Mandriva is started ...
In this case , Both Sound system are actived and Grabbing software (IDTV) are OK.

Removing PCMCIA CARD when Mandriva is started made it Crash ...

It seams (For me) that is not a lot to do to make it work normaly ...
