Build 5.4.0.356 and 5.2 GA (not yet tested in 6.x)
When using a nested xa:map/xa:map_match structure inside a Bizdoc, XAware parameter substitutions are not performed inside the second level xa:map_match, if the substitution is used in a functoid.
The same substitution (inside a functoid) is performed correctly inside the top-level xa:map_match, as well as outside of the xa:map_match structure. A straight substitution (without a functoid, i.e. mapped to an element, also yields the expected result - although it may be that the substitution is performed at a later pass. An XAware session variable reference is also resolved correctly at all levels. It also seems that an XPath reference does work inside the nested xa:map_match (I tested an xa-doc reference); just not a parameter substitution. (I did not test 6.x behavior.)
See the attached BizDoc1.xbd example, with test.xml as input. All of the "MID" element results (inside the top-level xa:map_match) seem to be resolved correctly. However, the first two "AST" element substitutions (inside the nested xa:map_match) are not resolved as expected.
