I am a user of Xastir and UI-Viwe32.
If I use the UI-View32, the messages gated for local stations will be transmitted using the reverse digi path of the last frame heard from the station.
I believe, this is the favorable feature for us.

This makes the assumption that the best path is symmetric - not necessarily a valid assumption.
It also assumes the other station is fixed - definitely an invalid assumption.
