Hi all, I can't seem to get PerlWrapper to work with my wxPerl app on MacOS X Tiger. Sorry. I know it's more of a PerlWrapper question than a wxPerl one, but I have no place to turn. I was just looking through the list archives and found this excerpt of a posting from Mattia Barbon on 2005-07-05 12:51: > As for PerlWrapper not working: works perfeclty under 10.3, while under= 10.4 > you just need to change a few library paths in the project to match > the changed perl location. I'm wondering if anyone has got this working. I've done the following: 1) Upgraded the .xcode project to .xcodeproj using the automatic upgrade thingie in Xcode (necessary to open) 2) Replaced all references in PerlWrapper.xcodeproj/project.pbxproj of 5.8.1 with 5.8.6 (ex: /System/Library/Perl/5.8.1/darwin-thread-mul... =3D> /System/Library/Perl/5.8.6/darwin-thread-mul...) 3) Removed the libstdc++.a from the project (as per http://developer.apple.com/qa/qa2005/qa1428.html - since it was giving me a linking error) It looks much better now with fewer (or at least different) errors, but it's still not quite working. It appears to be compiling fine, but now I am gettings this (at execution phase?): Perlwrapper has exited due to signal 6 (SIGABRT). I'm really not a Mac person at all - and this is my first time having to use Xcode, so I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks! -Pawel |
