Hello, I'm curious if it is possible to see what the user is doing, in other words view events before they get sent to a given applications. It's not for spyware, but to provide context sensitive services, and being helpful. This is related to the ideas of "calm computing", "proactive computing" and experimentation with user interfaces. In order not to eat too much CPU ideally I'd like to be able to intercept all events matching a regular expression and only wake up if I need to something like pop up an information window in response to a user action or network event, or add to an array a list of changes files. Is this possible? The wxwidgets manual didn't seem to helpful. Matt Thanks, Matt |
