Hey All, Just got a quick question in regards to Wx::Timers. The WxWidgets manual says that timers on Win32 are 'limited resource'. I was just wondering how limited. In my application I need to have two timers running. One fires every 300-odd milliseconds to update a calculation on screen. The other fires every 30 seconds or so and acts to send a keepalive to the server. My application starts the keepalive timer early and it should be running at all times the program is running to send information about the status of the program back to the server. The screen update timer only runs on one particular screen. The problem I am seeing is that when the screen update timer starts, the keepalive timer does not fire, even though Wx::Timer->IsRunning() returns true. Does anyone have any ideas why this might be the case? Regards Darryl |
