Hey All, I'm having some issues with this program I am writing when I run it under Windows 98. I was wondering if anyone else knew what would be causing it and perhaps how to solve it. I am writing my program under Windows XP and using the applications from the Activestate Perl Dev Kit to: a) create an executable version of the program, and b) produce a MSI installer file for the program to make it easier to ship / deploy. When I install and run it under Windows XP or Windows 2000, there are no problems. When I run it under Windows 98, it seems to run ok, but when I close it I get a stack fault error. My quit function was taken from the controls sample, and is fairly simple: sub quit { my ($self) = @_; $self->Destroy(); } Would this be what the problem is? What is the correct way to close down a WxPerl program? If I just do an "exit" then I get an invalid page fault error ... TIA Darryl |
