As you see in th erros it comes from the right place. I checked stc.h in 
2.8.3rc, and it contains
SetCaretLineBack() and not as you say ,GetCaretLineBackground() i don't 
think i am doing it wrong, because that means i am doing the same wrong 
at work,where the problem is the same.
