I've just been looking at the wxWidgets manual, at propagation, which appears to be the root of this business. It says only wsCommandEvent based events are propagated. As the word command appears in all the spin control, button, menu, events, I guess this is no co-incidence.

How do I make sure that wxEVT_LEFT_DCLICK propagates all the way back to the frame?
