Ok I sent a tag file with only standard ASCII characters to my students for them to test it. I switch to GitHub. Thanks a lot for your help!

re you sure about it's not due your locale "e" letter? Can you rename that file to ascii char and retry? Okay, I will look what we can. Could send you a special MacOS vesion binary also. I don't have mac here too. Will setup a VM for this. Probably will solve quick. But please, use official tracker at https://github.com/EUA/wxHexEditor/issues/161 Thanks, Erdem

Hi, thank you for your answer. The last version: 0.24 Beta. I'm a teacher and I use wxHexEditor in my class. I wanted to use it for home exams but all students having a Mac can't use tags (cf. printscreen from one of my students)... That's a big problem for me. I have no solution for my futur exam.

Hi! Which version do you using? I don't know what is the problem. I don't use Mac. But just port it to that OS. MacOs users need to report faults :) "<filepath>"... Himm. This is weird. Yes. Well, indeed I prefer not to call it in very beta stage. But yes there are some sections need to improve. You can also talk at github. Now, I don't work on it. Give some break for summer but will continue to develop it.
