I did a look at it but I don't think there is much of a problem. I feel we
should just merge the branch into CVS then fix bugs from there, since it
compiles and links and all.

The list has been rather quiet. 

Has anyone besides me and Guru tried Guru's proposed 6.10 merge? There's
definitely some bugs with it so we really need to have a few more eyes on
the code.
