Hello everyone, I have written some CLOS wrappers for wxCL, but there are approximately 100 wxWidgets classes, and if I am the only person writing them then it will take an extremely long time. So, I request each one of you to please come forward and help us, as well as yourself as a wxCL user. There have been slightly more than 90 downloads of wxCL 1.1.1, considering that some people might have downloaded it multiple times, still it can be assumed that there are at least 50 people who are using it. If each user writes the wrapper for just one class and contributes it, we will have more than half of the work done. Also, it is not a very time consuming thing, for experienced lisp programmer, it will take hardly more than 45-mins to 1-hr, for an intermediate programmer, may be 2.5 hrs. And if you are not familiar with CLOS and ffi, then it is an opportunity to learn these as well as contribute to an open-source project. So, I am looking forward to hearing some positive responses. I will make sure that the code is tested and integrates well with with the existing code. Preferably use the sourceforge patch control mechanism to submit your code: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?atid=756153&group_id=143661&func=browse or if you want you can email them to this list. If for some reason you want to be anonymous then you can mail them privately to me efuzzyone'at'netscape'dot'net. I promise to keep the confidentiality. Please take a look at the existing wrappers before starting: http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/wxcl/CLOS-wrapper/ Also, don't forget to include commented headers in your code, acknowledging your copyright claim, the license under which you are making it available, etc. P.S.-To run the code in wxCL cvs you have to compile and build your own wxC dll (as the code is undergoing lot of changes and fixes) , but I think cvs code is not needed to write the CLOS code.
