Hi. We are currently using Word 2000 automation to batch-translate classified ads for web posting, but it's proving to be pretty clunky and unreliable. We're now trying to switch over to using wvWare, but I can't get it to convert the external TIFF logo graphics in the ads. Error message is as follows: ** WARNING **: Invalid seek Diagnostic: (./escher.c:223) Eating type 0xf004 Diagnostic: (./wvWare.c:568) Strange No Graphic Data in the 0x01/0x08 graphic According to the list archives, 0x01/0x08 graphics are currently not supported. Can anyone tell me what is involved in getting wvWare to work with these graphics? Alternately, how hard would it be for us to get wvHtml to output the native filesystem path to the graphic? That way we could do the graphic conversion externally, and do a regex replace on the resulting HTML to change the img src. The docs are created in a proprietary, closed source app which is built around Word 97. I've placed a sample ad document at http://209.190.143.3/adfile.doc Any suggestions or insight into where this feature falls in the development roadmap would be very much appreciated. We're willing to help with testing if anyone is working on this. Thanks! Derrick Miller |
