wvware configure command tells me that iconv is not available. But the iconv directory is clearly visible in the wvware directory. Here are the details. I am trying to seach Microsoft Word Documents in a ZCatalog in Zope. To do that I installed a Zope product called DocumentLibrary which requires Wvware. I am running on FreeBSD, a pretty recent version. Then I installed wvware, three untars in all. then I went to /usr/local/zope/Products/wv-0.7.2 and ran ./configure It told me to no iconv is available So I installed ftp://ftp.gnu.org/pub/gnu/libiconv under wv-0.7.2 Then I switched to that directory, and again did ./configure I think I got libiconv working. It runs make check correctly. But still I cannot get wv-0.7.2 to configure correctly. it tells me error: * * * iconv is required: Regards Chris 1-510-740-6486 loz...@op... loz...@jo... |
