Hi Everyone,

Is anyone observing possible issues when the Linux xorgxrdp packages are deployed?

[ Note here I am testing with FT-897D, SCU-17, Ubuntu 20.04 x64 on an old 32-bit EFI iMac  With WSJTX 2.2.2 and “Master” repositorty Hamlib ]

Hardware and “basic OS incompatibilities” are eliminated as I have it working perfectly in the background … and packages are deployed onto “vanilla” Ubuntu 20.04 as described in my post on JT...@GR...<mailto:JT...@GR...> .

I am observing issues such as intermittent data flow issues that throw Hamlib related errors and GUI Waterfall timing intervals basically not working, as well as intermittent abends.

I state here that the issue is not WSJTX or Hamlib in these cases – from my extensive research - as when the xorgxrdp packages are not deployed then everything appears to work perfectly.

As to why issues could occur its quite understandable when one thinks issues and the services that xorgxrdp provides through; yet coexistence of the package (and not direct usage of it) should not cause issues. If there are no reports of issues – or lots of reports of success stories – then I need direct experimentation elsewhere.
