More than likely, you are a victim of the multiple decoding cycles per 15 second sequence.  The screen updates as you double click, and it grabs the callsign adjacent to the one you wanted.  This is an unfortunate side effect of the multiple decode per sequence added in the later updates.  Quck way to get around it is to turn MONITOR off before you double click the line you want.  It will stop and stay where it is and you can proceed from there.
