Hi Richard, if you are willing to build the application from sources you can make a debug build, that may tell us something about why the application is crashing when run under a debugger. All the tools you need are included in the JTSDK that Greg, KI7MT, provides and maintains. It is not practical to provide you with a ready made full debug version and our normal trace facility has nothing in the area of network access so will not help without some extra work. Have you tried running with your AV disabled, I know that is somewhat risky but with care to close other applications it would be interesting to know if that is part of the problem. Having said that, a firewall or other AV rule blocking access should not cause a crash, there should be some sort of helpful error message from WSJT-X. 73 Bill G4WJS. |
