Hi everybody!
I'm starting to test w2l (1.0.2, on Ubuntu 11.04) and it's rather impressive…
However, I'm still having many problems extracting images when I convert an .odt file in .tex.
First, the images I extract have no extension. In fact, they are .wmf images, and I can open them under Windows (I suppose I can read and convert them somehow in Ubuntu too, but I don't have the right program).
It is possible to choose in which format (png, jpg, eps or pdf) to extract images, to have them immediatly ready to compile a .tex file as pdf or dvi?
Thank you very much for the answer!
Daniele

Concerning conversion of .wmf under Ubuntu: please let us know - I did not find any usable programs under Linux which can convert a .wmf and I ended up installing irfanview under wine, which is doing a nice job, but unfortunately not directly under Linux.
Images conversion: I *assume*, that they are, as you say *extracted*, i.e. in the format in which they were in the .odt, and not converted - conversion is p to you. But I agree, it would be very nice to convert them automatically.
Cheers,
Rainer

That's right: The command line version can only _extract _images, the export filters for LibreOffice and OpenOffice.org on the other hand can _convert _images to a suitable format.
