I can confirm that this configuration (multiple services using same wrapper & libs with different conf files) works very well on Linux, Solaris, and HP-UX as well as Windows. I have had between 3 and 5 services running on each of these platforms at the same time. If you use the remote interface into the service to shut it down, then you need different ports, but if you use a control panes (like the service manager in windows or the xservice manager in Linux, then your wrapper should trap the kill signal properly and terminate as needed.
