Leif, Thanks for your response. So far - I've come across srvany.exe that is = supposed to allow for creation of services out of .exe. One issue with = it is that it requires manual registry changes which may be an issue as = part of a packaged install. Another alternative is a commercial product = called firedaemon. It seems to work really well for this issue but it = costs $. If I come across anything else I will let you know via the list. Once again - thanks for your response.
