Jim,
    I'll be honest and claim absolutely no knowledge of Windows COM.  I 
am thus fairly
sure that I am not doing anything intentionally which should be helping 
or hindering your
ability to use COM with the Wrapper.  That said, though, as I am not 
doing anything to
make COM work, it is entirely possible that something is being done to 
unintentionally
break it.   I'll be happy to apply any patches that you come up with to 
get things
working.
