well I used only comments starting with #

The versions of comments I used were

#my comment
a paramter

or

a parameter #my comment

or 

a parameter
#my comment

Because I have lost that faulty config file (why didn't I copy 'n paste it
to the list? ... damn) I can't send it to you.

I tried to reproduce the error with inserting comments in the new file of
which I thought I used them in the old file, but the error didn't come up
again :-(
So I think it was a very wired thing I had and I hope that noone else is
running into this ever again.
