Juergen, Try setting the wrapper.java.command.loglevel=INFO property. This will cause the Wrapper to log the full java command line. Most likely java binary is not being found correctly. If that does not make the problem obvious. Please set the wrapper.debug=TRUE property and reply with the resulting wrapper.log file attached. I should be able to point out the problem for you then.
