When running the wrapper in console mode under Linux,
the following error occurs during shutdown (initiated with
Ctrl-C within console). The error information below
appearrs to be displayed after stdout messages
produced by my shutdown hook.

John,
That is a place that I have not ever heard of a crash. I
reviewed the contents of that native function, and there is
absolutely nothing in it which could possibly be causing an
error. That makes me think that the problem has to do with
the JVM attempting to call the native function or receive
its return value.
How reproducible is this? Would it be possible for you to
rerun your application with the wrapper.debug=true property
set. That may give me some more information to try and
track down the cause. It will also give me information
about the JVM version etc that you are using.
Cheers,
Leif
