When building on RedHat Enterprise Linux 4 WS (Itanium
II), the build fails with the follwoing error:
undefined reference to `ceil'. (see actual error
message below)
Adding the -lm option to the gcc command seems to
resolve the compilation problem.

I got the same error on Gentoo linux for amd64. Looks like
the build script fails on all 64-bit processor linux.
