Wrapper Manager: The Wrapper code did not ping the
JVM for 55 seconds. Quit and let the Wrapper resynch.
JVM requested a restart.

That message is displayed when the Wrapper has failed to
send a ping to the JVM for an extended period of time. In
such a case, the JVM side of the Wrapper assumes that the
connection between the JVM and Wrapper has been closed
somehow and shuts itself down to give the Wrapper the chance
to launch a new JVM.
From what you said, it sounds like the JVM is not being
restarted correctly?
Could you let me know what version you are running, and
attach your wrapper.conf to this issue? Also if possible,
set the wrapper.debug=true property and then attach a
wrapper.log file which shows this happen.
Cheers,
Leif

This error is also reported anytime the computer's internal
clock is set backwards in time as occurs annually at the end
of Daylight Savings Time or periodically in conjunction with
a time-synchronization utility. Since the JSW quits, the
working application, in these scenarios, has no opportunity
to continue functioning.

The issue with Day Light savings is a known problem that was
fixed in 3.1.2 with the addition of the
wrapper.use_system_time=false
See the following page for details.
http://wrapper.tanukisoftware.org/doc/english/prop-use-system-time.html
This setting will be the new default starting with 3.2.0
