#242 Linux service says "started" when the app has failed

Using JSW 3.5.1 on Linux.
I accidentally set the JVM min heap to beyond the system limits (i.e. forced JVM to exit immediately).
# /etc/init.d/coolapp start
will say the service is started although the log shows clearly it failed immediately five times

    Hi,

    thank you for your post.
Yes this output is a bit confusing.

When you run /etc/init.d/coolapp status you can query the status of your application.
If everything is working fine, it should return you sth like:

    # bin/myapp status
    myapp is running: PID:xxxx, Wrapper:STARTED, Java:STARTED

I will have a look on how to make it a bit more smoothly.

    Cheers,
    Christian
