Java Service Wrapper 3.3.0 (standard developer)
Windows 2003 Server (SP2) 32-bit

When I execute "bin\wrapper.exe -d ..\etc\wrapper.conf" I get the following in the wrapper log file:

STATUS | wrapper | 2008/08/19 12:36:52.468 | Requested that the EchoSystem Server service perform a thread dump.
STATUS | wrapper | 2008/08/19 12:36:52.484 | Dumping JVM state.
ERROR | wrapper | 2008/08/19 12:36:52.484 | Unable to send BREAK event to JVM process. Err(6 : The handle is invalid. (0x6))

Not sure if I am doing something wrong.

    Mark,
    I have confirmed this problem. It happens if the Wrapper does not have a console window associated with it. The thread dump is invoked by sending a signal to the console.

    We are working on a better fix for this, but in the mean time, please set the following property. It has the same requirement and causes a hidden console to be generated:
    wrapper.request_thread_dump_on_failed_jvm_exit=TRUE

    Please let me know how this works for you.

    Cheers,
    Leif
