Hello all, I am new on this forum. I'm using wput since 2 days. I would like the file to be put as .tmp and rename when it is completed. Does an option exist for that? i did'nt see it inside "man" page for wput. Can anyone help me on that topic? thanks in advance. Odile
Does it exist?

I am seeing this exact issue too on OS X. The bytes and date of the remote file get updated, but not the content. If you run wput again with the same file it will skip it, since date and size now match. If you add the -u flag to force the upload and skip size/date detection it works as expected.
