Hi,
From http://wpcal.FireTree.net/faq
Q: Where are my events? I can see future events in the calendar / event list, but when I click on them, WordPress won’t show them to me.
A: Did you set the ‘Post Timestamp’ instead of using the ‘Event Editor’? If you set the post timestamp into the future, then WordPress thinks you don’t want to show it to people until that date.
1) The image of what the Event Editor should looks like does not work.
2) I found this code which looks like a better fix but does not seem to be compatible with you code. Can you integrate it?
<?php
/*
Plugin Name: The Future is Now!
Description: Display posts with a timestamp in the future.
Version: R1.0.1
http://comox.textdrive.com/pipermail/wp-hackers/2007-November/016104.html
*/
function show_future_where($where) {
global $wpdb;
if( !is_single() && !is_page() )
$where .= " OR $wpdb->posts.post_status = 'future' ";
return $where;
}
add_filter('posts_where', 'show_future_where');
?>
Not sure if this is 100% the same problem. Events were displayed in the event calendar. However, when I clicked on the link in the event calendar that should normally open the daily archive for that day I got the "Oh no! You're looking for something which just isn't here! ..." error message. My events are created with the "Event Editor" and are not future posts (i.e. the status is 'Published' not 'Future'). In order to fix this I made the following changes to 'eventcalendar3.php':
I changed:
$re="/ AND (($df)\(post_date(,[^\)]+)?\) *= *('[^']+'|\d+\b))/i";
into:
$re="/ AND (($df)\(wp_posts.post_date(,[^\)]+)?\) *= *('[^']+'|\d+\b))/i";
and:
preg_replace('/\bpost_date\b/','start',$where_post_date),
into:
preg_replace('/\bwp_posts.post_date\b/','start',$where_post_date),
Tested with Event Calendar 3.1.1._rc3 and WordPress 2.5
