#18 Call to undefined function in widget.php

I get the following error when adding the eventcalendar3 widget:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: ec3_get_calendar() in /home/bizilore/domains/bizilore.org/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/eventcalendar3/widget.php on line 56

1. Make sure you activate the main EC3 plugin before you activate the widget.
2. If you've done this, re-upload the EC3 package. Probably a faulty upload.
