I have a test server and everything seemed to work fine wiht the latest version of the plugin on 3.3,1 WP. 2008 server on SQL 2008. The difference is that the db on the tesr server is 2006. Front end was snappy and working fine after upgrade to 3.31.. If already logged into admin everything is snappy and fine. If I log out and try to log back in it takes forever to get back in and the php error log shows multiple time outs for translations.php. Any suggestions?
This is an mu setup and there are 3 sites and only one has more than 6 posts.
Could it be something to do with the mappings files that write to wp-content?

Solved. This was from mistakenly removing the mapping files from wp-content during an upgrade of wp and the db abstraction plugin. . DO NOT remove those files

Not solved. The issue has reared its head again even with both environments being on SQL server 2008.
PHP Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 300 seconds exceeded in wp-content\mu-plugins\wp-db-abstraction\translations\sqlsrv\translations.php on line 1083
Any thoughts?
