Hello, I was very happy when I found Workrave, since most of the similar software = I could find was only for Windows or other platforms and I needed something for Linux. I am using Linux at work, a distribution called Lunar ( http://www.lunar-linux.org/). There's no pre-packed version of Workrave for this Linux distribution, so, I had to download the source code, compil and install it (using the typical commands "./configure", "make" and "make install"). No problem, the compilation went ok. So then I run workrave from the installation directory. The Workrave icon nicely appears on my KDE panel, and I can configure it without problems. BUT, then the clock starts running. I've set the micro-breaks to 10 minutes, so I expecte every 10 minutes be "interrupted". The thing is that the micro-break clock randomly changes its value back to 10 minutes before arriving to zero, so if I'm lucky I get one micro-break every one or two hours. The same happens with the rest break and daily limit. Is anybody experimenting similar problems? How can I solve this, any suggestion? By the way, when starting workrave I get the following messages in the console: Xlib: extension "RECORD" missing on display ":0.0". (workrave:17685): Bonobo-CRITICAL **: bonobo_running_context_auto_exit_unref: assertion `object !=3D NULL' failed Thanks in advance for your help, David. |
