Hello, > noticed that when I pause to read email or a webpage, all timers stop > after a few seconds (5, 10?) then after another few seconds (15, 20?), > the micropause timer resets itself. Fortunately the other timers > appear to continue counting down from the last value. Correct. When you stop using mouse and keyboard, workrave assumes that yo= u are 'idle' within 5 seconds and stops all timers. The timers are not reset when you = become idle. A timer is reset when your idle time reaches the pause duration for that ti= mer. You can change the pause duration of a timer in the preferences (e.g. Pre= ferences -> Timers -> Micropause -> Pause Duration). Usually, a micropause only takes= about 30 seconds, so after being idle for 30 seconds, the micropause timer resets.= The restbreak pause is usually a couple of minutes, like 5 minutes. So this timer will = not reset after being idle for only 30 seconds. > Is there any way to set the pause time before the timers stop? Also, is No, this option is not configurable (anymore). Well, at least not using t= he GUI. > there a way to extend the period of time before the micropause timer > resets itself? I didn't see anything in the options. Yes, see above.
