Version 7.0.0 of the various workbox packages were released in Y2023, and v7 seems to be the active development branch nowadays; the GitHub PULL_REQUEST_TEMPLATE.md file contains an outdated hyperlink to a blob on the v6 branch that should probably be updated.

(NB: the only modification between the two is a syntax fixup in 071d9c77487c63ccfba053f1d7e035e12be2b3fa, I believe)
