Changes between version 1.1pre12 and 1.1pre13 - Added the French translation. - Fixed bug #669785 (the problem with the caption remains). - Applied patch wordtrans-1.1pre12-initargs.patch - Now it's not needed to modify file src/Makefile to compile kwordtrans for KDE 3. "make all_kde KDE3=1" should be enough (untested). - Added more comments to the file Makefile.dirs. - Added the wordtrans.spec for Mandrake (untested) http://www.escomposlinux.org/rvm/wordtrans/index.php -- Ricardo Villalba rv...@es... |

Changes in wordtrans 1.1pre12: - Fixed some problems with Qt 3: now it really uses the specified font for the output window instead of the main font, and also fixed a problem in the help viewer. - Added documentation in French. - New version of wordtrans-web. http://www.escomposlinux.org/rvm/wordtrans/index.php -- Ricardo Villalba rv...@es... |

Changes in this release: - Fixed a security problem in wordtrans-web. All people using it should upgrade. - Fixed a bug with http links in qwordtrans/kwordtrans. Now kwordtrans is also a command line application with the new option --nogui (like qwordtrans in 1.1pre10) - Fixed a segmentation fault when trying to use an uninstalled babylon dictionary. - Added a new program cwordtrans. This is a specia version for the console which does not depend on any graphical library, so you don't needed X-Window installed. - Wordtrans-web can work with any of the binaries, not only with wordtrans-qt. - Now it's possible to install wordtrans using apt, adding this line to the /etc/apt/sources.list: deb http://www.escomposlinux.org/rvm/wordtrans/ woody main console dictionaries New web page: http://www.escomposlinux.org/rvm/wordtrans/index.php -- Ricardo Villalba rv...@es... |

In this release some bugs have been fixed, there are important changes in the debian packages (wordtrans-console doesn't exist anymore, it's replaced by wordtrans-qt which is now also a console application), wordtrans-web support dictionaries in other charsets, that means that it's possible to use it with dictionaries in cyrillic, hebrew, greek... There are now more dictionaries available as debian packages. At the moment there are only binary packages for Debian 3.0 (Woody). http://wordtrans.sourceforge.net/ -- Ricardo Villalba rv...@es... |

Changes between 1.1pre8 and 1.1pre9: - Ask for confirmation when saving a file with the same name of an existing file. - Improvements in the web interface. No cookies needed so it should work with php3 too. - Updated the manpages. - Written a manpage for idp2text. - Improved the configuration parser. Unfortunately the changes are not backwards compatible, so you'll need to configure again some of the preferences (colors and fonts). Changes between 1.0.1 and 1.1preX: A lot, but the most importants are: - Added support for many more dictionaries. - New preferences dialog. - Support for other charsets besides latin1. - Added support for the English-Hebrew dictionary from Babylon Translator. - Adapted for Qt 3. Now it's possible to compile Wordtrans with both Qt 2.3 and Qt 3.x. -- Ricardo Villalba rv...@es... |

Version 1.0.1 =B7 The option for docking and hiding the main window disappears because now it's not necessary. Now clicking the minimize button will make more or less the same function. =B7 The program tries to fix some of the mistakes a user can make when selecting a text. For instance, the spaces, dots and comas at the beginning and at the end are automatically removed. This only works with the text which is taken from the clipboard. The text typed by the user is not modified. =B7 The konqueror didn't open the right page when clicking in the "about:doc" link in the kwordtrans. Fixed. =B7 Some aesthetic changes in the web interface (new logo, white background, translation of the title to English). --=20 Ricardo Villalba rv...@es... |
