Hi Lon, I didn't know about the info.plist... Otherwise, I do the same things you listed below, with the addition of a static initializer block static { setUpFrameworkPrincipalClass(MyFrameworkPrincipal.class); } And a static REQUIRES field for all the frameworks that are required to load before MyFrameworkPrincipal. public final static Class REQUIRES[] = new Class[] {ERXExtensions.class}; Ramsey On Jan 13, 2011, at 9:16 PM, Lon Varscsak wrote: > Here's what I've done so far: > > 1) Created a subclass of ERXFrameworkPrincipal called com.mycompany.myframework.MyFrameworkPrincipal > 2) Written a finishInitialization() method in that class > 3) Set com.mycompany.myframework.MyFrameworkPrincipal as the the Framework principal class in WOLips (I've verified that there's a proper value in both the build.properties (principalClass as the key), and I've verified that the built framework has it properly set in it's Info.plist > > Unfortunately, finishInitialization() never gets called.
