At least the tricky AGP8x stuff for the kt400 isn't; on my gigabyte 7vaxp
ultra, I have to set the agp port to 4x in the bios for the agpgart module
from 2.4.20 to load (otherwise it says it can't determine the aperture
size).

I tried 4.0s, 4.1s and 4.2s, but all of them failed to boot. Alas, I can't
be much more specific as the box is 1500km away and I have no console
access.
From what I gather, the symptoms were that it just stopped without any error
message after a while; I assume it had to do with IRQ routing.
