[I assume you sent this to me in private by mistake, not on purpose;
therefore, I'm replying to the list.]
/usr/include/asm should no longer be a symlink to /usr/src/linux/include/asm
(or vice versa). This has been the case since around the release of
glibc2.1, I believe.
AFAIK, the userspace includes from /usr/include do not really enter the
picture while the kernel is being compiled.
