After a successful compilation (tried both gentoo and opensuse) the app will start but will not update itsel. if I re-run but with -w it will create an icon on the wmaker desktop that will not update but also created a windowed output (with title-bar) that does update but has an invisible border. Thw windowed version while working somewhat cannot be added to the bar.

I see the failure with windowmaker 0.92.0-r11.

Until it is fixed, you use fluxbox or µwm as windowmanger.
