#5 wlassistant could let us choose a fixed rate
Hi, wlassistant could permit us to set the rate to a
fixed value (11M for instance). In some places the
signal is weak and letting the card to assign the
rate makes the conection a little unstable. In my
particular case the driver of my wifi card (bcm43xx)
only works with WEP in 11M rate (actually I haven't
tried other values other than 11M yet), so I
can't use wlassistant to connect since it doesn't let
me choose a fixed rate.

It seems I also have to set the channel manually to make
my wifi card work with bcm43xx driver. It would great if
wlassistant let us set some parameters manually (rate,
essid, channel at least).
