Working under Windows 7 x64, if WIX v.3.0.5419 is pre-installed into the default directory (that is "Program Files (x86)\Windows Installer XML v3" in this case), and after that WixEdit is installed without installing WIX again in the WixEdit installer, than WixEdit doesn't see the installed WIX, and you have to manually select the WIX directory. If working under a x86 OS, the automatic detection works fine.
