#1253 Automatic checkout is suppressed by votive
After installation of Wix 3.0.4214.0, the automatic checkout feature of sourcecontrol in Visual Studio 2008 is not working anymore. This is not just the case for votive projects, but also for any other project type.
I also recognized that the votive project itself shows almost any sourcecontrol command disabled.
I also tested 3.0.4220.0 and it didn't work either.
In 3.0.4123.0 this worked fine.

Some more hints to reproduce:
I use Windows Vista 64 with Visual Studio 2008 Professional Developer Edition. I also have the Visual Studio Team Explorer 2008 installed to access our Team Foundation Server. I use the wix3_64-installer.
All projects in my solution are source controlled by TFS, including the wixproject created with votive (in wix 3.0.4123.0). I have all TFS-commands like checkout, checkin, undo pending changes, etc. accessible and enabled on the wixproject and all other projects in the solution. And I have configured Visual Studio 2008 to automatically checkout when editing a file in the solution. This works fine.
After upgrading to Wix 3.0.4214.0 or 3.0.4220.0 any file in my solution which is not checked out could not be edited anymore because the automatic checkout does not work anymore. A manual checkout is possible, but not on the wixproject. In the wixproject every TFS-command is disabled and greyed out. Only one single command called unshelve changes is enabled but seems not to work.

I'm using Visual Studio 2008 Professional Edition Build 9.0.21022.8.
I also tested the newest weekly build (3.0.4227.0). It's still not working and it's also not working on a 32bit Windows 2003 Server.

Same here. Automatic checkout is not working in VS2008 or VS2005 (Team Developer Edition) for any type of project.
