#1141 MergeMod.DLL version mismatch?

Hi -

There seems to be a mismatch in the version(s) of the mergemod.dll file that's being shipped with WiX release packgages ...

For example:

from v2.0.5213.0, mergemod.dll version = 3.1.4000.2049

from v2.0.5325.0, mergemod.dll version = 4.0.6000.16384

from v2.0.5805.0, mergemod.dll version = 4.0.6000.16384

from v3.0.3815.0, mergemod.dll version = 3.0.3790.371

from v3.0.3829.0, mergemod.dll version = 3.0.3790.371

from v3.0.3907.0, mergemod.dll version = 3.0.3790.371

the change in DLL versions between v2.0.5213.0 and the next two releases in the 2.0.x.x series is accounted for by the change in the development environment to the Vista SDK ...

I had thought that the 3.x.x.x series of WiX toolsets was also built using the Vista SDK ... but the version of mergemod.dll that is included in the v3.0.3815.0, v3.0.3829.0 and v3.0.3907.0 release packages does not match the version in the Vista SDK.

Is there an issue [or potential issue] here ... or is the WiX v3.x.x.x toolset using a different SDK ?
