STLport-5.x installs as "libstlport", so trying -lstlport_gcc no longer works

Since a few years ago the STL implementation with gcc has worked fine and I've not had a reason to build against stlport. I guess some compilers for embedded targets might need it, so I've left it in for now but obviously need to update the m4 detection code.
