DownloadFormerly entitled LimeWire Pirate Edition(LPE), WireShare is the newest fork of the original LimeWire open source project. Our sole intention is to create and maintain a bona fide continuation of the project. All work is undertaken on a pro bono basis. The name was changed for legal reasons.

The problem with this setup is first of all no portable version, which i needed because i cannot install without it wanting to download java and I ALREADY HAVE JAVA, latest too.. if i click cancel wireshare cancels altogether!Reply from WireSharePosted 2022-04-25
Hi dokha, the Windows version of WireShare is only available as a 32bit application and requires a 32bit version of Java. Therefore, if you have a 64bit version of java installed, it cannot be used by WireShare and a 32bit version would need to be installed also. Perhaps a portable version may be released in the future. -
