I've downloaded Wired and read the Install using WordPad. Compiling, distribution package systems and consoles are all a mystery to me. Can I handle this or am I over my head?
I did open Autogen using WordPad and it changed from a file to "sh" file.
Thanks for any help. I use Audacity but that's been pretty easy. Paul

At first, on which OS are you trying to install Wired ?
Let's say you're using Windows (because of WordPad...).
The simpliest way to do it is :
- To install Code::Blocks http://www.codeblocks.org/
- To follow instructions in README.txt, located in the win32 subdirectory
Please let us know if you something goes wrong.

Wouldn't it be better if you made an independent package installer file for Linux and a setup.exe for Windows rather than get us to suck with it?
I'm sorry, I'd just like to try out your app but this "compiling" thing really disaffects me from that. I installed Ubuntu Studio, but it doesn't have Wired in the audio list right now.
Then tried about everything to get it work, but no success. Now I saw there is a Win version. Ok, there *would be* a Win version. I need to get 8 different programs, then installing, running, compiling when I only want to TRY it.
What am I, a computer expert or a music student? :(
