    This app is really useful. And I have a feature request. I want to be able to create a move/resize action rule that executes only once, when the window is first opened. For example, I made a rule that when I open a File Explorer window to a certain folder, the window moves to a certain size and position. That works great. But sometimes I might move it or resize it again manually after that. And then, if within the same File Explorer window, I navigate to a different folder and then back to the original,...

    Hey all, I've only been using this software for a couple of days - thanks so much to the creator, I love it! However there is a small, but higly irritating problem that about every 10 seconds a message pops up at the last mouse position saying 'INI file was read - has been over written by the user'. I've tried changing quite a few settings trying to make it go away. It lasts for four seconds, so it's on the screen 40% of the time, and because it's at the last mouse position, it's always covering...

    As Windows still likes to create windows wherever it feels like to, this program is still very useful in 2024. The problem is that there are issues with multimonitor setups, DPI scaling, etc. Is there any more developed fork or any alternatives?

    I've upgraded from a 1080p monitor to a 4K monitor, and Winsize2 doesn't seem to be saving my new settings. I Ctrl-Alt-Z and for example when I switch Chrome tabs all of Chrome resized to the old size. Is there a way to reset the settings? Should I un-/re-install? Edit: Here's what I did, and it seemed to work. I edited all the entries out of the .INI file.

    In Total Recorder, when I go to options/setting the new window flashes then moves and reduces size and I can't use it.

    The Start Menu\Programs\Startup\WinSize2.EXE shortcut worked. My notes: To start WS2 automatically: Special Parameters -> Special -> Start WinSize2 with Login --> But the checkmark isn't saved ???     2 screens - PC & TV, both 1920 x 1080. If I set up on TV, app doesn't recognize same window (place and size) on PC. I tried renaming for TV or PC (see attached) - no go. If it comes up wrong, how to correct without delete or rename? Instead of having to use specific titles, can I just have generic...ex: Outlook, and Outlook-message, and Outlook-reply? Sorry if I missed this in the pdf.
